Here's what I love about helping you declutter and downsize…

Lifting the weight of a thousand decisions – and the physical stress of sorting decades of belongings – off your shoulders. So you feel clear and cared for, whether you're rightsizing a single room or an entire home.

The best part?

Hearing “I feel so much lighter!” because your space is calm, spacious, and organized.

No more mystery bags, boxes, and stashes looming over you. Instead, you're free to move ahead with your life and enjoy what you love most.

Helping you reach that freedom means a lot to me, because rightsizing is hard.

Most people don’t know where to begin. They get stuck and overwhelmed. And, too often, decluttering and downsizing are forced by deadlines and unforeseen circumstances.

I know because I lived it.

In 2020, the first year of the pandemic, I lost my mom, faced a medical crisis, and was selling my home. All that chaotic summer.

One sunny July morning, sitting on the kitchen floor surrounded by boxes, packing tape, and bubble wrap, I was sorting, packing, and creating donation piles as fast as I could. But the more I pulled out of the cabinets, the more stuff seemed to multiply. Like some mythical hydra gone mad.

Worse, it was a mad dash of forced choices because the house was going on the market in a few weeks.

And while the timing was perfect for selling, the weight of so much loss and so many decisions threw me into a storm of despair when I had the least capacity to deal with it.

Later on I realized…

My downsizing experience turned out to be a gift.

I discovered that the more I pared back, the lighter and freer I felt. There was less to manage. Less to fret over.

So instead of losing weekends to sorting stuff for years to come – because I already took care of it – I could spend more time with loved ones, taking care of myself and my family, and having fun.

The other gift?

Discovering the joy of helping others rightsize their stuff so they could feel lighter and freer too.

Turns out, I already had what it takes to be a professional home organizer.

Before launching Room to Breathe Organizing, based here in Providence, RI, I spent 3-plus decades helping people manage complex projects, navigate important decisions, and create a brighter future.

First in corporate banking, helping start-ups to Fortune 500 multinationals access the capital they needed to grow and thrive. Then as a copywriter, helping clients bring their mission to life with a clear, powerful message.

Now I bring those skills and values to you...

Like listening deeply. Asking thoughtful questions. Creating order from complexity. Keeping your privacy sacred. And helping you clarify what's most important to your life so you can move forward with peace and confidence.

So whether you're rightsizing a single room or whole house, preparing for a move, unpacking into a new home – or you're helping a loved one navigate a major life transition – my goal is always the same:

To help you create a home that feels light, calm, and ready for whatever comes next.
